Executive Summary

This is a brief report of project work done in Marketing Management (MM1) course of term3 in PGP-WMP program at IIML in 2016 with Max Optimus Security Solutions and NavSemi Energy being used as subject of the project group. NavSemi Energy, acquired in 2013 by Alpha group companies (USA), known as total power solutions ? providing clean energy solutions in India since 2008 with the vision to provide energy maximizer solutions and power management products to maximize solar energy generation and storage. To understand the targeting and growth strategy, STP (segmentation‐targeting‐positioning) framework has been applied. Max Optimus Solutions is primarily focusing to Solar Management Unit and analysis considers the market leader in same domain. The overall strategy and brand analysis for the Company and the market leader is also done on the basis of point of parity and point of difference and draw inferences by doing the SWOT analysis on the same.

This study is based on information available in public domain and discussion with the company?s management team and comments were taken so that interpretation is easy and accurate. To get the study concluded, some assumptions were taken and mentioned in respective sections.
