Hello B.Tech students,
Computer System Security is a vital subject in the B.Tech second year curriculum at AKTU (Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University). It is a course that teaches students about the importance of securing computer systems against unauthorized access, theft, damage, and disruption. The course covers topics such as access control, cryptography, network security, software security, and risk management. It also teaches students about common types of attacks, such as viruses, worms, Trojans, and denial-of-service (DoS) attacks. By the end of the course, students are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to design, implement, and maintain secure computer systems. This is an essential skill in today's world where cybersecurity threats are becoming more prevalent and sophisticated. Students who master this subject will be well-positioned to pursue careers in cybersecurity and help organizations protect their critical data and assets from cyber-attacks.
